Therapist / Mental Health Practice
A compliant, trust-building site for a solo or small practice — built for a visitor making a high-stakes decision, often at 2am.
$2,500 · 1-2 weeks*
Who This Is For
Solo and small mental health practices — therapists, counselors,
psychologists — who need a multi-page site that states eligibility
(license state, age range, individual vs. couples) clearly, never
fabricates a clinical claim, and gets the crisis-content and compliance
pages right. Built using the
building-website-for-mental-health-practice.md methodology.
What's Included
- Hub + child architecture: Home, About, service/condition pages, Rates & Insurance, FAQ, Contact, crisis resources
- HIPAA-adjacent compliance pages: Notice of Privacy Practices, Good Faith Estimate (structure drafted confidently; real professional/ compliance review still recommended before launch)
- Crisis content (988/911) placed prominently, never buried
- No client testimonials — trust built through radical transparency instead (credentials, pricing shown plainly, an honest "who I'm not a fit for" page)
- Full technical build — see Process
Turnaround
1-2 weeks* from kickoff to launch — more pages and a real compliance pass than the Professional tier, still a scoped project with a real end date, not an open-ended engagement.
*Draft estimate, not yet confirmed as a hard number — see the Pricing page for the full timeline/scope-discipline explanation.
Payment
- 1/3 due to start
- 1/3 due after styling is approved
- 1/3 due after final sign-off -- triggers file handover and go-live
Retainer: $25/mo/month for ongoing support — see Pricing & Payment for exactly what that covers.
FAQ
Will you write my "why I became a therapist" story for me? No — per the guide's hard rule, that story is yours to give, never invented on your behalf. If you don't have one written yet, we'll flag the section until you do, not fill it with something fabricated.
Do you handle the HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices? The structure is drafted from well-established required elements, but recommend actual professional/compliance review before launch — a confidently formatted draft isn't the same thing as a reviewed one.
Is booking/intake handled on the site? No — the website is never where clinical intake happens. It routes to your existing HIPAA-covered platform (Headway, SimplePractice, Alma, etc.); the site's own contact form stays scoped to routing information only.
